He noticed that one of the boys was blonde and blue eyed and had him brought to him. He asked the boy if he had any German ancestry. The boy replied that he did not know,that he didn't think so. Himmler replied: "Then I can't do anything for you." He was then led to the execution pits and shot with the rest. This picture has also been cropped. In the original next to Himmler is an officer of the Ordnungspolizei or Orpo,referred to also as the "SS Police" which provided most of the rank and file of the Einsatzgruppen.
