12.8 cm FlaK 40 were installed in FlaK Turms only. Flakturm VIIL had four balconies with 12.8cm Flak Zwillings. If you look in the upper left of this photo you will the barrels of one of the other Zwillings. The pedistal of the guns sat on the actual corner of the FlaKturm. The balcony served as crew/loader work and ammunition ready storage area. An example of this has been at Aberdeen Proving Grounds since the war. It probably made the move to the new location in Virginia
